Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you buy and use an IPTV NZ subscription.
These terms of service (“terms”) apply when you buy or use an IPTV NZ subscription (“the service”) from IPTV NZ (“we”, “us”, “our”) through iptvnz.org or WhatsApp. By ordering or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
1. The service
IPTV NZ is a subscription service that streams live TV channels and on-demand content over the internet to compatible devices. The features of each plan are described on our pricing page. The channels and titles available can change from time to time, for example when channels are added, removed or rebranded, or when content providers change what they make available. We aim to keep the line-up broadly consistent with what we advertise.
2. Who can subscribe
You must be at least 18 years old to buy a subscription. You’re responsible for how the service is used on your devices, including by children in your household, and for using any parental controls your player provides.
3. Ordering and activation
You order by messaging us on WhatsApp. Once we confirm your order and receive your payment, we activate your subscription and send your login details. Your plan starts when it is activated.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Any New Zealand dollar (NZ$) amounts on our website are approximate and provided for reference only.
- Your bank or card provider converts the payment at its own exchange rate and may charge a foreign-currency fee. These charges are set by your bank, not by us.
- You pay for your whole plan up front. The price you pay is fixed for the length of that plan.
- We may change our prices for future purchases and renewals. Changes never affect a plan you’ve already paid for.
5. Plan length, renewals and contracts
Plans run for the length you choose: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. There is no minimum contract beyond the plan you buy, and plans do not renew automatically. To keep watching after your plan ends, message us on WhatsApp to renew.
6. Connections and devices
Each subscription is for the number of simultaneous connections (streams playing at the same time) stated when you order. You may install the service on several of your own devices, but you must not exceed your connection limit.
7. Acceptable use
The service is for your personal, private, non-commercial use at home and while you travel. You agree that you will not:
- share, sell, rent or resell your login or access to the service;
- show the service in a bar, restaurant, club, gym, shop, hotel or any other commercial or public venue — commercial screening requires separate licensing;
- record, copy, redistribute or rebroadcast content from the service;
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer or overload the service or its infrastructure;
- use the service in any way that breaks the law where you are.
You are responsible for making sure your use of the service complies with the laws that apply to you.
8. Availability and service quality
We work to keep the service available around the clock and design our infrastructure for 99.9% uptime. This is a design target, not a contractual commitment. Like any internet service, it can occasionally be affected by maintenance, technical faults, problems with third-party networks or content sources, or events outside our control. Picture quality also depends on your internet connection, your home network and your device, which are outside our control.
9. Support
We provide support 24/7 on WhatsApp, including help setting up compatible devices. Not every device, app or player is compatible with the service, so we’ll recommend options that work well and help you get set up.
10. Refunds and your consumer rights
If the service isn’t working as described, tell us straight away and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. If we can’t resolve a genuine problem with the service, we’ll agree a fair remedy with you, which may include a credit, extension or refund.
If you’re a consumer in New Zealand, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 that can’t be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If you’re buying the service for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply to the extent permitted by law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access without a refund if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms — for example, by sharing or reselling your login or using the service commercially. Where reasonable, we’ll contact you first and give you a chance to put things right. You can stop using the service at any time.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for problems caused by your internet connection, your devices, third-party apps or events outside our reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for your current plan. This doesn’t affect your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new purchases and renewals from the date it is published. If we make a significant change that affects a plan you’ve already paid for, we’ll let you know.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
