Copyright & DMCA Policy

How copyright owners can report material to us, and how we respond.

IPTV NZ respects the rights of copyright owners and expects everyone who uses our website and service to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about material you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond. It applies to notices under the New Zealand Copyright Act 1994 and to notices in the form used under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

How to send a copyright notice

If you’re a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and you believe material available through iptvnz.org or our service infringes that copyright, please send us a notice containing:

  1. your name, organisation (if any), postal address, phone number and email address;
  2. a description of the copyright work you say has been infringed;
  3. the specific material you say is infringing — for example the web address (URL) on our site, or the channel name and the date and time it was shown — with enough detail for us to find it;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf; and
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

Where to send it

Send copyright notices to us on WhatsApp at +44 7576 966392 with the subject “Copyright notice”, and attach your notice as a document or clear text. We’ll acknowledge it and, if needed, give you an address for formal correspondence.

What we do when we receive a notice

  • We review every complete notice promptly, usually within 2 working days.
  • Where the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material identified.
  • Where appropriate, we tell the person responsible for the material and give them the chance to respond.
  • We keep a record of notices and may end the access of anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright, in line with our terms of service.

Counter-notices

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send us a counter-notice with your contact details, a description of the material and where it appeared, a statement — made in good faith — explaining why you believe it was removed by mistake, and your signature. We may pass your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice.

Please notify in good faith

Notices must be accurate. Sending a notice or counter-notice you know to be false may make you liable for the costs and damages that result.
